Welcome to the submission portal for the 2026 New Mexico PRSA Cumbre Awards!
Each year, the Cumbre Awards celebrate the very best in public relations, communications, marketing and storytelling across New Mexico. From innovative campaigns and impactful community engagement efforts to creative tactics and strategic communications, the Cumbre Awards recognize the work that elevates our profession and makes a difference.
This online submission platform is designed to make the entry process simple and convenient. You can create and edit entries, save your progress, upload supporting materials and complete payment—all in one place.
Before submitting, please download and review the 2026 Call for Entries, which includes category descriptions, eligibility requirements, judging criteria and entry guidelines.
Please include all team members who contributed to the entry for certificate purposes.
AI TOOLS
Artificial Intelligence (AI) continues to transform the communications profession—and it can also help strengthen your award submission.
While successful entries still depend on strong strategy, execution and measurable results, AI tools can help streamline the writing process, organize information and ensure your submission aligns with award criteria. Consider using your preferred AI platform to help draft narratives, refine language and highlight key outcomes while ensuring the final submission accurately reflects your work.
IMPORTANT ENTRY UPDATE
Campaign and tactic entries will continue to be evaluated using character-count limits (excluding spaces) rather than page limits. Please follow the character-count requirements outlined in the 2026 Call for Entries.
If the submission portal references a "one-page summary" or "two-page summary," please disregard that language and instead ensure your entry complies with the applicable character-count guidelines.
DEADLINES
Standard Entry Deadline
Sunday, July 12, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. MDT
Final/Late Entry Deadline
Sunday, July 19, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. MDT
Entries submitted by the standard deadline will be charged regular entry fees. Entries received after the standard deadline will incur a $25 late fee per entry.
All entries must be submitted online no later than 11:59 p.m. MDT on July 19, 2026. No exceptions will be granted.
JUDGING
Judging for the 2026 New Mexico PRSA Cumbre Awards is tentatively scheduled to conclude by Sunday, Aug. 9, 2026.
